Upholding Jehovah's Name

Studying for a Bible study this afternoon with CC. There is such an interesting point that is made in the paragraph. (We are studying the live forever book) If Jehovah doesn't fulfill his original purpose for the earth, (Genesis 1:27, 28) then he would be admitting defeat. Now think about that. The Almighty God, Creator of the entire universe, admitting defeat to whom? Himself? Impossible, but really it would be admitting defeat to his creation!!!! If you think that it is impossible to admit defeat to himself, even more so to his creation! Jehovah could never admit defeat to himself, because what he purposes will come about. (Isaiah 46:10,11) To admit defeat to his creation...come on! He created us, and all the angels. He could just squish us like a bug. He doesn't because of the issue that was brought forth in the Garden of Eden. Satan slandered Jehovah's name calling him a liar and saying that he doesn't have the right to rule mankind. It is now up to us to decide who we will worship. Are we going to choose Jehovah's side of the issue, or Satan's.
Another interesting point that was brought out at the assembly...Satan refused to use Jehovah's name in the garden. Why is that? Is it because he tried to stamp out that holy name? Same as Pharaoh of Egypt did, saying "Who is Jehovah that I should obey his voice (Ex 5:2). Satan and this Pharaohs name's are both forgotten. No record of their names at all. Satan is a title just like Pharaoh is a title.
So, I for one will be supporting Jehovah's side of the issue. There is no greater person in the universe. Even Jesus upheld his fathers name. He said that he made it know those who support and love Jesus and his father also make that name known. (John 17:6, 26; John 17:3). As we know that any other way will be defeated, just like Pharaoh's defeat was sure, and just as sure as Satan's defeat will happen very soon.
Just had to write that, as I was so overwhelmed when I started thinking about that.
